If you have read The Innovation Stack by Jim McKelvey, a book I highly recommend, you may have noticed that the title of this article is copied from a section of chapter 6, on page number 83 of the book. And, that is the whole point of this article - copying.
Copying, often maligned as an act that signifies a complete lack of ethical standards in individuals, is actually the foundational block of our cognitive growth. We copy what we observe.
